The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is recruiting a NATO Archivist . The NATO Archives is located at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. The Archivist is responsible for managing nine staff, developing archival and information management policies and procedures, running the Archives' reading room and overseeing the annual public disclosure of NATO documents. The Archivist also coordinates the work of archivists in the NATO military commands who identify and preserve the records of NATO's military operations, most notably in the Balkans and Afghanistan. The NATO Archivist is a civilian post. Military experience is not required, but a strong professional archival background is. NATO's working languages are French and English.
