תקציר ההרצאה של פרופ' דורנטי:

 Archival diplomatics is the integration of the theories of archival science and diplomatics about the genesis, inner constitution, and transmission of documents; and about their relationship with their creators, with the facts represented in them and with other documents produced in the course of the same function and activities. This presentation will show how the concepts of archival diplomatics can be used to assess the trustworthiness of contemporary paper and digital records, that is, their reliability, accuracy, and authenticity, and to authenticate them, especially after they have been extracted from their original environment.
